Damascus, June 25 (SANA) Twenty-seven people were injured across Syria on Wednesday as emergency crews responded to 241 traffic accidents and fires nationwide, the Syrian Civil Defense said.
In a statement, the Civil Defense said its teams responded to 24 traffic accidents that injured 24 people. First aid was provided at the scene before the injured were transferred to hospitals, while crews secured the accident sites and cleared debris.

Civil Defense teams also responded to 217 fires, including 22 in agricultural fields and crops and 195 others involving homes, commercial properties, grasslands, trees, garbage and electrical wiring.
Three civilians were injured in the fires, while the remaining incidents resulted in property damage, according to the statement.
The Civil Defense renewed its warning against lighting fires in forests and agricultural areas, discarding cigarette butts or glass bottles along roadsides, particularly near farmland and woodland, and burning dry vegetation around homes or roads. It urged residents to remove dry grass safely to help reduce the risk of wildfires.
The latest figures follow a day in which 14 people were injured in 264 traffic accidents and fires across Syria.
