Homs, June 20 (SANA)    Homs Governor Murhaf al-Naasan discussed on Saturday with Dutch Special Envoy to Syria Lex Gerts cooperation in demining, humanitarian needs and reconstruction efforts, the governorate said.

During the meeting at the governorate headquarters, both sides discussed the situation in the province and ways to cooperate in priority areas, including infrastructure support, demining and the transitional justice process, according to a governorate statement on Telegram.

The two sides stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to meet development and humanitarian requirements to enhance stability and reconstruction in the province.

The talks come as part of efforts to support recovery, reconstruction and development in Homs province, whose infrastructure and services were damaged during the years of war, along with the ongoing need to address war remnants and landmines that pose a danger to civilians and hinder their return to their areas.
