Quneitra, May 21 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out a new incursion into the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah in northern Quneitra on Thursday, setting up a temporary checkpoint and searching passersby before withdrawing.
SANA’s reporter said the incursion followed another operation a day earlier in southern Quneitra, where Israeli forces entered the villages of al-Bassali and Um al-Lawqas in southern Quneitra countryside, searched homes and detained two young men before releasing them hours later.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions, arrests, shelling and land bulldozing in southern Syria.
Syria has condemned the Israeli violations, called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory, and urged the international community to pressure Israel to withdraw fully from the area.
