Damascus, May 5 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabawat discussed Tuesday with a delegation from Human Rights Watch (HRW), headed by Lama Fakih, ways to boost cooperation in social, humanitarian and human rights fields.
The meeting focused on strengthening coordination on several priority issues, particularly those related to the rights of women and children, refugees, and workers, as well as developing mechanisms for humanitarian and social work, according to a statement posted on the ministry’s Telegram channel.
Earlier, an HRW delegation met with Justice Minister Mazhar al-Wais and discussed with him a number of human rights issues and ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of justice and human rights.
