Damascus, May 1 (SANA) The annual scientific conference of the Syrian Society of Anesthesiologists and the Association of Anesthesia and Pain Management Specialists opened on Friday under the title “Anesthesia in Critical Cases” at the National University Hospital in Damascus.
The event was attended by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Marwan al-Halabi and Minister of Health Musab al-Ali, along with doctors, specialists, and medical professionals.
The conference brings together experts in anesthesia and intensive care to discuss the latest developments in the management of critical cases, with a focus on improving patient care, clinical practice, and pain management techniques.
Participants are expected to present research papers and case studies on advances in anesthesia in emergency and intensive care settings, as well as modern approaches to pain relief.
The conference also aims to strengthen professional cooperation between medical institutions and enhance training and knowledge exchange among specialists in the field.
