Damascus, April 25 ( SANA)– Syria strongly condemned on Saturday the attacks on two northern land border posts in Kuwait by drones launched from Iraq.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed its categorical rejection of all forms of violations that undermine the security of brotherly nations, declaring its full solidarity with the State of Kuwait in confronting these attacks.
The ministry also called for the necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such acts and to hold the responsible sides accountable in a way that enhances security and stability in the region.
Earlier today , Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that two explosive-laden drones coming from Iraq had targeted two border sites in the north of the country, with no human casualties reported.
