Quneitra, April 18 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces, consisting of several military vehicles, carried out an incursion on Saturday into the northern countryside of Quneitra.
SANA’s reporter in the province said that the forces set up a temporary checkpoint on one of the roads, where they stopped and searched passersby before later withdrawing from the area.
On Friday, an Israeli force also advanced into Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi with three trucks carrying prefabricated rooms, along with a crane, a bulldozer, and two Hummer vehicles, and began unloading the structures at the hilltop.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, in addition to carrying out raids, arrests, and land bulldozing targeting civilians.
Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect, while urging the international community to assume its responsibilities and put an end to such violations.
