President al-Sharaa discuss role of media and civil initiatives in raising awareness

Damascus, March 4 (SANA) – Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa met Tuesday at the People’s Palace in Damascus with a group of journalists and civil society activists to discuss the role of media and community initiatives in strengthening public awareness and promoting national responsibility.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the importance of constructive media engagement and grassroots initiatives in supporting societal dialogue and reinforcing civic values.

President al-Sharaa also reviewed key domestic challenges and recent regional developments, outlining the priorities facing the country during the current period.

The participants presented their views and proposals on enhancing media performance and expanding community initiatives.

The president stressed that the coming phase requires coordinated efforts and teamwork to serve the national interest and support stability and development.
