Geneva, Feb. 27 (SANA) Social Affairs and Labor Minister Hind Kabawat reviewed the ministry’s programs and implementation mechanisms during a dialogue session titled “Addressing the Causes of Crises, Not Their Symptoms,” highlighting plans aimed at strengthening sustainable responses to community needs.
During the session held Friday in Geneva, Kabawat stressed the importance of partnership with civil society organizations and international bodies, underscoring their vital role in cooperation with the government to implement development projects tailored to local communities in a way that addresses the root causes of crises and achieves long-term impact.
The session was attended by Resident Coordinator and Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Humanitarian Coordinator of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Bruno Lemarquis, Executive Director of Oxfam International Amitabh Behar, and Ambassador and Director of the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance Nathalie Chuard.
Kabawat is participating in the fifth edition of the International Cooperation Forum, which focuses on the challenges and future of humanitarian aid.
