Damascus, Feb.19 (SANA) Information Minister, Hamza al-Mustafa, affirmed that al-Souriya TV– the channel of Syrian society – was relaunched today as a project expected to build bridges among the Syrians inside the country and abroad, expand its audience base, and address their preferences.
In a post on the “X” platform on Thursday, Minister al-Mustafa indicated that the channel’s launch is part of a comprehensive national media development process that began with al-Ikhbariya channel, followed by SANA news agency, then al-Thawra newspaper, and subsequently Damascus Radio, reaching al-SouriyaTV channel – a journey whose milestones will continue.
Al-Mustafa congratulated the General Authority for Radio and Television on this achievement, expressing his aspiration for the announcement of a new drama and film production project soon.
The official first broadcast of Al-Souriya TVchannel, bearing the slogan “Syria Embraces Everyone,” stared at 10:00 a.m. today, marking a new phase in national media and establishing itself as a unifying platform that reflects the pulse and aspirations of the Syrian people.
