Israeli forces arrest Young man and adolescent while shepherding sheep in Quneitra

Quneitra, Feb.19 ( SANA) Israeli occupation forces on Thursday arrested a young man west of the village of Ruwayhina and an adolescent west of the village of Koudna in the southern Quneitra countryside while they were herding sheep. They were released several hours later.

SANA reporter in Quneitra said that the occupation forces entered the area west of Ruwayhina village, took the shepherd to an unknown location, and released him after several hours. The forces also fired two artillery shells toward the vicinity of the village, there were no reports of injuries or material damage.

The reporter added that the occupation forces also arrested an adolescent while he was herding sheep west of Koudna village and released him after several hours.

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday arrested six young men during an incursion into the Yarmouk Basin area in the western Daraa countryside, in addition to incursions into the villages of Saida al-Golan, al-Muqraz, and Ayn Ziwan in the southern Quneitra countryside.

“Israel” continues its aggression and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by incursions into southern Syria, assaulting civilians through raids and arrests, and bulldozing land.

Syria consistently demands the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, asserting that all actions taken by “Israel” in southern Syria are null and void.
