Kuwait, Jan. 31 (SANA) Kuwait welcomed the agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), reaffirming its steadfast support for Syria’s sovereignty and the unity and integrity of its territory.
“The State of Kuwait renews its full support for all efforts undertaken by the Syrian government to safeguard Syria’s sovereignty over its entire territory and to preserve its safety and unity,” Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement issued on Saturday.
The ministry expressed hope that the agreement would contribute to boosting the path of security and stability, meeting the aspirations of the Syrian people, and reinforcing national unity. It noted the responsiveness of all Syrian parties involved to the efforts and initiatives led by the United States in the context of de-escalation, which ultimately resulted in reaching this comprehensive agreement.
