Damascus, Jan. 14 (SANA) A delegation from Syria’s Ministry of Interior visited the College of Qualification and Training in Damascus on Wednesday to review a training program for ministry personnel. The program aims to enhance the skills, discipline, and professionalism of the country’s police forces.
The delegation included Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Major General Abdul Qader Tahan, Deputy Minister for Police Affairs Major General Ahmad Lattouf, Deputy Minister for Human Resources Mohammad Hussam al-Sheikh Fatouh, and the Head of Internal Security in Raqqa. During the visit, officials assessed the training process, the curricula, and the practical and theoretical proficiency of the trainees.
Speaking to trainees, Major General Tahan emphasized the importance of professional responsibility, discipline, and making full use of the program to prepare a police force capable of efficiently carrying out its duties and serving the public.
The ministry highlighted that developing training programs in line with current security needs is a key priority for improving operational effectiveness and reinforcing professionalism across its forces.
