Health and Higher Education Ministers review health situation in Deir Ezzor

Health and Higher Education Ministers review health situation in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor ,Dec. 29 (SANA) Minister of Health Musab al-Ali and Minister of Higher Education Marwan al-Halabi, accompanied by Deir Ezzor Governor Ghassan al-Sayyed Ahmad, inspected the state of health and educational services in the province.

The visit was part of the government’s plan to directly assess vital services and work on developing both the health and academic sectors.

Minister al-Ali conducted a field tour of the city’s hospitals to evaluate the quality of medical services provided.

He stressed the need to improve performance and respond swiftly to citizens’ health needs, affirming the ministry’s commitment to enhancing healthcare and medical services in the region.

For his part, al-Halabi inspected the conditions and needs of al-Furat University’s faculties, which had suffered damage under the former regime. He also attended a university council meeting to discuss the institution’s academic and educational situation.

The two ministers also took part in the opening of the “Bridges of Knowledge Forum” at the Faculty of Agriculture, Al-Furat University, held under the theme “From Jisr al-Shughour to the Suspension Bridge, we shape the future together.”

The forum was organized by the Syrian Scientific Council in cooperation with the Jusoor Organization and the Universities of Idleb and Al-Furat, under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
