The Internal Security Directorate in Lattakia province, in cooperation with a number of citizens, managed on Sunday to arrest Alaa Ahmad al-Shakh and Ali Muhammad Adnawi after they threw explosive materials in front of the Qninis police station on the evening of October 30 .
According to a statement by the Interior Ministry on its Telegram channel, investigations revealed that the two suspects were affiliated with a terrorist cell operating in Lattakia province. The perpetrators have been referred to the competent judiciary for appropriate legal action.
This operation is part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to maintain security and stability and to pursue anyone who seeks to undermine the safety of the nation and its citizens.
