Energy Minister Mohammed al-Bashir discussed with the UAE Ambassador to Syria, Hassan Ahmed Al Shehhi, on Sunday ways to enhance cooperation relations between Syria and the UAE in various energy fields.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al Shehhi conveyed an official invitation to Minister Al Bashir to visit the UAE, with the aim of continuing coordination and expanding the horizons of bilateral cooperation.
Also on Sunday, minster al-Bashir discussed with the Algerian Ambassador Abdelkader Kasmi al-Hassan cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, gas supply, and exchanging technical and expertise. During the two meetings, Minister Al-Bashir stressed Syria’s keenness to develop its relations with Arab countries and expand areas of cooperation in the energy sector in a way that contributes to achieving integration and enhancing Arab energy security
