Amman, SANA-Jordanian King Abdullah II reiterated the importance of Syria’s stability and the preservation of its territorial sovereignty, highlighting the success of close coordination between Jordan and the United States in reducing tensions within Syria.
This came during a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday, according to a statement from the Jordanian Royal Court.
The Jordanian King praised the efforts of the United States and President Trump in de-escalating tensions in the region, stressing that Jordan continues to work alongside Washington to achieve peace that ensures security and stability across the entire region.
According to the statement, both sides discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza and Syria.
