Bosra al-Sham Humanitarian Corridor reopened following Security Stabilization

Damascus, SANA-Busra al-Sham humanitarian corridor in Daraa countryside was reopened Monday after the area was secured from al-Hijri rebel militias, who violated yesterday the ceasefire agreement in Sweida.

After repelling an organized attack by al-Hijri rebel militias in Sweida province on Internal Security checkpoints deployed in several villages, security forces regained control of the points the militias had advanced to, secured the area, and halted clashes to preserve the ceasefire agreement.

Relief and humanitarian aid enters Sweida province via Busra al-Sham in Daraa countryside as part of the Syrian government’s ongoing efforts to meet the humanitarian needs of the province’s residents.
