Ankara, SANA – The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed hope for security and stability in the province of Sweida in southern Syria and resolving the situation there through dialogue.
Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Öncü Keçeli was quoted by the Turkish News Agency as saying in a press statement on Monday “In this context, Syria’s sovereignty and unity should be prioritized”, reiterating his country’s continued efforts to promote stability and efforts to reach consensus in Syria, in cooperation with responsible parties in the international community.
