Bonn, Germany, SANA –Syrian Information Minister Hamza al-Mustafa participates in the Global Media Forum in Bonn which kicked off Monday gathering governments’ representatives, international media institutions, journalists and experts from various countries of the world.
Al-Mustafa is to take part in a dialogue session within the forum’s activities, in which he will talk about developments in the current situation in Syria, and the challenges facing the Syrian media in light of the political changes and the transitional phase that the country is experiencing.
He will also hold meetings on the sidelines of the forum, including a meeting with the Director of Bonn Media Forum and another one with DW Media Foundation administration to discuss opportunities for cooperation and exchange professional experiences.
Al-Mustafa is to meet also a group of the Syrian community in Germany, in an open dialogue session during which he will discuss the role of the Syrian media in the next stage, and the importance of activating the participation of Syrian competencies in supporting the national media.
