Syrian engineers gathering holds its first gathering in Netherlands

Amsterdam, SANA – Syrian engineers gathering held on Sunday its first gathering in Utrecht in the Netherlands, attended by more than 70 engineers and students from various specialties.

The gathering aims to unite Syrian energies, exchange of experiences and establish a common professional platform that serves the future of Syria.

Participants discussed the importance of building an engineering support network that contributes to empowering Syrian engineers in the diaspora, and raised visions on ways to engage in the European labor market.

The issue of Syria’s reconstruction was also a key focus of the gathering, where they emphasized that this initiative represents a strategic step towards linking Syrian expertise abroad with the needs at home, and contributing to the reconstruction of the affected areas.
