Pakistani school in Damascus holds graduation ceremony to more students

Damascus, SANA- The Pakistan International School in Damascus held a graduation ceremony on Saturday for a new batch of students, attended by Assistant Minister of Education, Dr. Mahmoud Bani Al-Marjeh, and Charge d’affairs of the Pakistani Embassy in Damascus Omer Hayat Khan.

Dr. Bani al-Marjah told reporters that today’s graduate students, both Syrian and non-Syrian, were educated according to international curricula under the supervision of Syrian and Pakistani teaching staff.  He noted that this educational model, which combines multiple schools, curricula, and diverse expertise, would produce a new generation of outstanding students.

In turn, the Charge d’affairs of the Pakistani Embassy in Damascus, Omer Hayat Khan, emphasized that the school’s presence in Damascus represents Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the Syrian people and is a vital symbol of the permanent friendship between Pakistan and Syria.

It also embodies a shared commitment to education and mutual respect, and serves as a vital platform for enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, paving the way for stronger diplomatic and cultural relations in the future.
