The first flight of a European airline arrives at Damascus international airport from Romania

Damascus,SANA-The first flight of the European airline “Dan Air” arrived Sunday at Damascus International Airport from Bucharest, the Romanian capital.

This flight facilitates the mobility of travelers between Syria and Europe.

The Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar, was on board the plane, which was received by an official Romanian delegation led by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Romanian Embassy in Damascus, Radu Gimpostan.

Dan Air’s commercial representative in Syria, Mohammad al-Raz, explained to SANA that the plane was carrying 138 passengers, including Syrians and foreigners, and that the flight will take off from Damascus to Bucharest with 125 passengers.

The company announced a few days ago the resumption of flights to Syria, with departures from several cities, including Bucharest (Romania), Frankfurt and Berlin (Germany), and the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
