“Trump's vision for Syria is hopeful and achievable,” Barrack says

Washington-SANA-US Special Envoy to Syria Thomas Barrack confirmed that US President Donald Trump’s vision for Syria is full of optimism and hope, and can be achieved.

Barrack tweeted on his personal account on the X platform: “I met with President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the White House. The discussion revolved around the Middle East, primarily Syria and Turkey. I can confirm that the President’s vision on this matter is not only optimistic, but also achievable.”

Barrack welcomed the fatwa issued by the Supreme Fatwa Council in Syria, which prohibits attacks on blood and honor and prohibits personal revenge. He said in another tweet: “The fatwa represents a great first step for the new Syrian government in moving forward toward a new Syria.”
