Damascus, SANA- President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad al-Sharaa and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held Sunday, a phone call during which they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance joint cooperation, especially in the economic and investment fields.
During the call, President al-Sharaa expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continued support for Syria, stressing the importance of the Saudi role in strengthening Syria’s territorial integrity and stability, and its support for the Syrian people in facing challenges, especially the recent Israeli aggression.
For his part, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Syria’s security and stability and encouraging political solutions that preserve the country’s unity and contribute to its reconstruction.
He noted the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance economic and investment cooperation with Syria in the coming period.
This call comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to strengthen Arab relations and joint coordination in confronting common issues.
