Damascus, SANA-Energy Minister Mohammed al-Bashir discussed on Wednesday with a Chinese delegation, investment opportunities and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.
The ministry stated on its Telegram channel that Minister al-Bashir noted that China is one of the most prominent countries in the fields of technology and renewable energy, stressing the government’s efforts to attract foreign direct investment, especially in renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
The Chinese delegation expressed its interest in the Syrian market and the willingness of Chinese companies to provide technical support in this field.
