Syria discusses current education situation, prospects of cooperation with Germany

Damascus, SANA- Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turko discussed on Thursday, during his meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy in Syria, Margarete Jacob, and her accompanying delegation, the current state of education and prospects for future collaboration between the two countries.

Minister Turku emphasized the importance of benefiting from the German experience in vocational education, thanking the German side for the continued support of the Syrian people and efforts to lift economic sanctions on Syria as an obstacle in the reconstruction phase.

For her part, Jacob expressed her willingness to cooperate with the Ministry of Education within the Ministry’s vision and response plan.
