Turkey calls on Israel not to undermine efforts to establish stability in Syria

Ankara, SANA- Turkish Foreign Ministry called on Israel not to undermine efforts to establish stability in Syria.

In a statement issued Friday by the ministry and reported by the Anadolul News Agency, said: “It must be asked why Israel is disturbed by developments in Syria and Lebanon, which herald high hopes for peace, stability and prosperity in our region and enjoy the support of the entire world.”

The statement clarified that “Israel” has become the greatest threat to the region’s security, with its attacks on the territorial integrity and national unity of the region’s countries.

In its statement, the ministry called on Israel to halt its expansionist policies and withdraw from the territories it occupies in order to establish security in the region, noting that Israeli policies contribute to creating chaos, fostering terrorism in the region, and undermining strategic stability.
