Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates receives phone call from Afghan counterpart

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Sheibani received a phone call from his Afghan counterpart Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

Minister Muttaqi congratulated the Syrian people on their victory over the defunct regime, wishing goodness and stability for the Syrians and the new leadership.

He also affirmed his country’s support for the wise steps taken by the new Syrian administration, which serve the interests of the Syrians.

For his part, Minister al-Sheibani stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the Syrian and Afghan peoples, and increasing coordination between the two countries to serve the interests of the two peoples.
