Brussels, SANA – Belgium called on Israel Thursday to stop attacks on Syria and respect Syrian sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In a tweet on the X platform, the Belgian Foreign Ministry expressed its support for the reconciliation agreement in Sweida, the immediate cessation of escalation there, as well as for conducting a transparent investigation into the events, noting its concern over the clashes that occurred in Sweida province.
Arab and Western countries also condemned the Israeli attacks on Syria, describing them as a blatant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation in the region.
