Abu Dhabi,SANA-Syrian fencing player Aphrodite Ahmed topped the rankings in her first season with the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club.
Ahmed topped the overall ranking in the UAE after collecting 78 points, beating some of the best fencers in the country.
Not only did the Syrian athlete shine individually, but this season she also helped lead her women’s epee team to two gold medals in the team competition.
