Conclusion of the Third League Race for Purebred Arabian Horses in Hama

Hama, SANA – With wide participation from several governorates, the competitions of the Third League Race for Purebred Arabian Horses concluded in Hama Governorate.

The event was organized by the Syrian Association for Purebred Arabian Horses and Hama Equestrian Club, in cooperation with the Directorate of Horses at the Ministry of Agriculture, at the Hama Equestrian Club racetrack.
Conclusion of the Third League Race for Purebred Arabian Horses in Hama

A total of 98 horses from different governorates competed in 10 rounds, covering distances of 1,400 meters, 1,600 meters, and 3,050 meters.

The results saw notable victories, including:

•Waddah al-Hammad, owned by Salman al-Shari, winning the first round.
•Qaysar al-Aref, owned by Mughira Haj Qaddour, securing the second round.
•Habib al-Ish, owned by Waseem Katib, prevailing in the third round.
•Sultan al-Khad’an, owned by Marbat Saheel, leading the fourth round.
•Victor Damascus, owned by Hamed Hourieh, taking the fifth round.
•Suheil al-Juwaid, owned by Adel al-Hasso, dominating the sixth round.
•Birawi al-Mu’tasim, owned by Sarhan Jurio, winning the seventh round.
•Saif Hama, owned by Amar Shatat, claiming the eighth round.
•Jessy al-Bouf, owned by Hussein Ibrahim, finishing first in the ninth round.
•Sultan Haj Khalifa, owned by Marbat Khalifa, triumphing in the tenth round.

Zaher Jalaghi, Head of the Hama Equestrian Club, told SANA reporter that the race witnessed wide participation from different governorates, and the competition was strong and exciting for occupying the first places, especially since ten heats were organized for the first time in a long period.

He clarified that at the end of the race, the first three winners in each round were honored amidst a wide public presence interested in this sport.

This marks the second league race hosted by Hama after its liberation, following the first league race held on April 18.
