Syria set for crucial match with Qatar in Arab Cup Group A showdown

Doha, Dec. 3 (SANA) Syria will face Qatar on Thursday at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha in a key Group A match at the 2025 Arab Cup. The game kicks off at 8:00 PM Damascus time.

The match follows Syria‘s impressive 1-0 victory over Tunisia in their opening game, a win that saw them defeat the defending runners-up of the tournament. This victory highlighted Syria’s resilience and ability to compete with some of the Arab region’s top teams.

Under the guidance of coach José Lana, Syria will look to extend their strong start and secure all three points against Qatar, which would put them in a strong position to top Group A and take a major step towards the quarterfinals.

Syria’s fans are buzzing with excitement and optimism ahead of the clash, rallying behind their team to raise Syria’s flag high in one of the most prestigious tournaments in Arab football.
