New Syrian Record in Athletics at Arab Junior Championship
Tunis, SANA- Batoul al-Debs set a new Syrian record in the hammer throw competition at the Arab Junior Championship in Tunisia, with a throw of 44.11 meters.
With this record, Al-Debs broke the previous Syrian record, set by Lisa al-Saleh in 2010, which stood at 43.53 meters.
Our national team concluded its participation in the 11th Arab Junior Athletics Championship in Tunisia with a valuable silver medal, won by Rayan Hassan in the 100m hurdles on the second day of the tournament.
