Damascus, Aug. 27 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa received Chairman of the Saudi-Syrian Business Council Mohammed bin Abdullah Abunayyan and an accompanying delegation at the People’s Palace in Damascus on Thursday.
Economy and Industry Minister Nidal al-Shaar attended the meeting, which focused on strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Syria and Saudi Arabia.
The delegation briefed President al-Sharaa on key projects and initiatives being pursued by the council across several sectors, including projects already completed and others currently under implementation.
The two sides also reviewed the council’s plans and future projects aimed at expanding bilateral economic and investment cooperation.
