Damascus, July 11 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Saturday received Qatar’s Minister of State, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, at the People’s Palace in Damascus, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, as well as efforts to promote regional openness and cooperation. The two sides also discussed reconstruction, humanitarian response and investment opportunities during Syria’s recovery phase.
Earlier in the day, al-Shaibani and al-Khulaifi signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in diplomatic studies and training following talks at Tishreen Palace.
