Damascus, April 2 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Thursday received US Congressman Cory Lee Mills at the People’s Palace in Damascus.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the current regional and international situation and a number of issues of common interest.
President al-Sharaa visited Washington D.C. and met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on November 10, 2025.
This marked the first visit by a Syrian head of state to Washington since 1946, where they discussed security, regional cooperation, and sanctioned relief.
