Damascus, Jan. 30 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa wrote in a post on Friday via platform X: “A year has passed since I assumed the responsibility of the presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic. I recall the sacrifices and patience of Syrians in every field, and I pray to God that I may be worthy of this trust.”
“The future is built together, with steadfast justice, lasting stability, and comprehensive development that restores Syria’s position and fulfils the aspirations of its people,” the President added.
On January 29, 2025, the Conference of the Syrian Revolution’s Victory was held at the Presidential Palace in Damascus, with broad participation from military operations factions and revolutionary forces.
The conference marked a pivotal moment, announcing the appointment of Commander Ahmad al-Sharaa as President of the Republic, the dissolution of all military factions and revolutionary political and civil bodies, and their integration into state institutions.
