President al-Sharaa discusses future projects with international investors

President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad Al-Sharaa, met on Tuesday with a number of prominent international investors on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative conference in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

The talks focused on opportunities for cooperation, investment and future projects in Syria.

The meeting comprised:

Richard Attias, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Future Investment Initiative Institute, and member of the Board of Trustees and Acting CEO.

Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier, the Canadian company specializing in private jet manufacturing.

Omeed Malik and Chris Buskirk, Co-founders of the American investment firm 1789 Capital.

Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of the French energy company Total Energies.

Christopher J. Nassetta, President and CEO of Hilton Worldwide, a global leader in hospitality and hotels.

Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor Group, one of the largest hospitality and hotel companies in the world.

Mary Erdoes, CEO of Asset and Wealth Management at the global bank J.P. Morgan.

Eren Schmidt, CEO of the American aerospace company Relativity Space.

Matteo Renzi, Prime Minister of Italy from 2014 to 2016 and current member of the Italian Senate.
