Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa received the credentials of Stefano Ravagnan, the new Italian ambassador to Syria, during a ceremony at the People’s Palace in Damascus on Monday.
The event was attended by Foreign Minister As’ad Hassan al-Shibani.
Discussions touched on bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
