Damascus, May 9 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa received on Saturday Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the People’s Palace in Damascus, with ministerial delegations from both countries in attendance.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties and advancing economic and trade cooperation to serve shared interests.
The talks also dealt with security coordination to bolster regional stability and confront challenges.
The two sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, including issues of mutual concern to both nations.
