Berlin, March 27 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed al-Saleh signed an agreement on Friday in Berlin with German Federal Minister of the Interior Alexander Dobrindt aimed at improving emergency equipment and rebuilding operations centers in Syria, enhancing faster and more effective disaster response.
Under the agreement, the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) will provide advanced training for Syrian volunteers and strengthen their capacity to respond to disasters efficiently, in addition to supporting reconstruction efforts on the ground.
The agreement came as a result of the Syrian minister’s visit to Germany to meet with representatives of the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides.
