Damascus, Dec.15 (SANA) The Syrian Arab Republic expressed its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco, its government and people, over the victims of the floods that struck several Moroccan regions, resulting in the death of more than thirty-seven people, in addition to causing severe material damage.

“The Syrian Arab Republic affirms its full solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco in this painful humanitarian circumstance, expressing its deep sympathy with families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, safety for the missing, and continued security and stability for the Kingdom of Morocco and its brotherly people,” The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement Monday.

Heavy rains and floods swept through the coastal province of Safi, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Morocco, leading to the deaths of dozens of people.
