Damascus, Dec. 8 (SANA) The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Damascus extended its congratulations to Syria’s leadership and people on the occasion of Liberation Day.
In a post on X, the embassy stated: “Heartfelt congratulations to Syria, which has always remained in our hearts. Syria rejoiced on this day and brought joy to Arabs, Muslims, and all free people around the world with its freedom and deliverance, embarking on a new era of recovery and reconstruction.”
The embassy also conveyed its greetings to the Syrian people and government on this great anniversary, expressing hope that the Syrian people will enjoy lasting security, peace, and stability.
The Syrian people are marking the first anniversary of the country’s liberation from the former regime. Since early morning, hundreds of thousands of citizens have taken to the streets to celebrate the occasion, expressing their joy and hopes for a future of peace, freedom, and prosperity.
