A delegation of the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates arrived on Sunday in Bonn, Germany to finalize the technical and administrative preparations for the reopening of the General Consulate, a SANA correspondent said.
According the correspondent the delegation is working on preparing the infrastructure and necessary equipment for the consulate to begin operations soon, following the completion of its mission to enhance consular services at the Syrian Embassy in Berlin.
This step comes as part of efforts to strengthen the presence of Syrian diplomatic missions in Europe and expand consular services to cover various states and regions, providing Syrian citizens abroad with more accessible procedures and quicker responses to their legal and administrative needs.
