Fidan also reiterated Turkey’s continued support for the Palestinian people and the implementation of the two-state solution as a fundamental step toward achieving lasting peace in the region.

For his part, the German Foreign Minister described the situation in Gaza Strip as “catastrophic,” noting that his country had reduced arms shipments to Israel and that it would fully fulfill its obligations under international humanitarian law and toward the Palestinians.
