Syrian Airlines announced, Friday, that it will launch direct flights between Aleppo Airport and Kuwait International Airport, starting November 2. The route will operate once a week, every Saturday.
In a statement to SANA, Syrian Air Director Samih Orabi said that this move reflects the airline’s commitment to expanding its transportation network and strengthening commercial and cultural ties between Aleppo and countries in the region.
He stated that connecting Aleppo to the world carries “strategic significance” as it opens broader horizons for travelers, boosts economic and tourism activity, and restores the city’s role as a key hub on the regional and international aviation map.
