King Abdullah II reaffirmed Sunday Jordan’s commitment to supporting Syria and Lebanon in preserving their sovereignty and stability.
During a meeting with former Jordanian prime ministers, King Abdullah II reviewed regional and international developments, the Jordanian Royal Court said in a statement on X.
The king reaffirmed “Jordan’s constant readiness to safeguard its sovereignty and security, highlighting ongoing coordination with Arab allies and international partners on the comprehensive Gaza plan” proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, the statement added.
King Abdullah II condemned the Israeli aggression against Qatar, describing it as an “attempt to intimidate the region and destabilize regional relations” and called for confronting such disruptive policies, the statement added.
