Washington, SANA- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, met on Thursday a number of officials from the U.S. Treasury Department in the presence of US Special Envoy for Syria Thom Barrack.
Talks during the meeting addressed means of reconnecting the Syrian economy to the global financial system in a responsible and secure manner, ensuring enhanced joint efforts to combat terrorist financing.
This comes as part of the Foreign Minister’s historic visit to the United States for extensive discussions.
