Saudi Cabinet on Tuesday reiterated the Kingdom’s full commitment to supporting Syria in rebuilding its economy after years of deterioration during the era of the deposed regime.
“The Kingdom will continue to support Syrian efforts to rebuild the economy, The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Minister of Information Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari as saying following a cabinet meeting.
He pointed out that the oil grant includes supplying Syria with 1.65 million barrels of crude oil, with the aim of improving the living conditions of the brotherly Syrian people.
The step after the Ministry of Energy signed a memorandum of understanding last Thursday with the Saudi Fund for Development to provide this grant, at the ministry’s headquarters in Damascus.
